Most of these films were shot and edited by myself, working solo, in reportage conditions.
I approach filmmaking the same way I write or photograph: instinctively, on the move, close to life, letting reality lead the narrative rather than a predefined script.

But Ozzie quickly decided to choose a different path than the one that led to competitions. Inspired by the skate and punk scene, he was the first person to bring humor and DIY philosophy to the surf scene.
